Default Guild Wars Keeps Crashing?

Alright, well at first I thought it was only me experiencing this, but now I know im not, because it happened to some guild mates yesterday.

For about 4 or so days now, I can open up guild wars, but after about 2-5 hours, guild wars close down, and a guild wars message pops up saying "Out of memory"

I can open it up right after again without restarting or closing any programs (which arent open) but still, it gets irritating!

So is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know why?

Thanks much,
Palidore

Well like I said, its happened to guild members, and I dont see hpw its a memory problem because this computer im playing guild wars on is almost brand new..now even quarter year old..

And something else I forgot to mention (happened to about 3 guild members, simutaneously (sp))
and when we open up gw again and log on, our characters end up in random places we werent even in when we got kicked off.

A computer's age is irrelevant. Give us your system specs and maybe we can give you some advice.

This is true, but if there is a hiccup in the coding, then any program can eat up memory and keep eating it, if it doesn't free it up properly.

This does and can happen. Not saying GW has a bad bit of coding, but like the poster says, if the same thing is happening with him and some guild mates, why would this be.

Maybe the OP can get his guild mates to post there issues and system specs in this same thread.

Default Memory Leak?

That is a wild guess. A memory leak problem with some software.

It is the only thing I can think of

At least you're getting that far. I can't even get to the sign in screen. It keeps coming up with the loading box saying "Connecting to Arenanet" and it just doesn't go past 0%.

I've tried resinstalling, but that doesn't seem to help.

Heh, I know you're having problems, Minako - but bumping a three years old thread is definitely not recommended ^^

(edit) Ah, Old Dood, I miss him )

Try creating your own thread on this subject, you'll likely get more assistance this way. If you do, make sure to include such information as what operating system you have, what your cpu is, how much ram, what video card, what type of internet connection, what isp, etc.
